Confusion to Clarity: a visual impact
Change is necessary, inevitable, and constant.
Whether we like it or not, we always adapt to it.
It’s called evolution.
Almost a year ago, Facebook launched its Facebook Certified Community Manager program with an idea to help community professionals start, build, and grow their community with the tools provided by them.
A couple of days ago the Partnerships team at FB updated the “Certified Community Manager” Badge.
A badge is a device or accessory, often containing the insignia of an organization, which is presented or displayed to indicate some feat of service, a special accomplishment, a symbol of authority granted by taking an oath, a sign of legitimate employment or student status, or as a simple means of identification.
For a Community Strategist, this certification endorsed the credibility of the consulting practice. For a few, it opened doors to new employment opportunities.
For the majority of community builders who were running interest-based communities, this credential recognized the effort and work being put in for a cause they cared about.
Also, post-qualifying this certification exam, there is access given to a private FB group where all the FCCMs are part of it, interacting with each other, sharing knowledge, expertise, experience, and also the opportunities available in various geographies due to this certification.
